YelMail exists to protect people's privacy. This policy explains what you may not do with the Service. It is part of our [Terms of service](https://yelmail.com/terms) and applies to the website, browser extension, mobile apps and API.

## You may not use YelMail to

- break the law, or help anyone else break it;
- commit fraud, phishing, identity theft or impersonation, or receive stolen data, credentials or payment details;
- create accounts in bulk, or abuse free trials, sign-up bonuses, referral programmes, promotions, votes or reviews on other services;
- get around a ban, suspension or block on another service;
- harass, threaten, stalk or exploit anyone;
- receive, store or share child sexual abuse material. We report it to the relevant authorities;
- receive or distribute malware, or content that infringes someone else's intellectual property;
- verify accounts or services that are used for spam, scams or other abuse.

## You may not use the Service in a way that

- tries to access inboxes, accounts or data that are not yours, or to guess or collect other people's addresses;
- probes, scans or tests the security of our systems without our written permission. Security research is welcome: email [security@yelmail.com](mailto:security@yelmail.com) first;
- overloads, disrupts or interferes with the Service, including through excessive automated requests;
- scrapes the website or automates it in ways other than through our published API;
- gets around rate limits, plan limits, domain restrictions or other technical measures;
- resells, rents or sublicenses the Service, or uses it to build a competing temporary email service;
- uses reserved addresses such as postmaster, abuse or admin to impersonate us or domain owners.

## How we enforce this policy

We may, without notice:

- block senders or sender domains;
- delete inboxes and emails;
- limit, suspend or close accounts and revoke API keys;
- refuse service to IP addresses or networks;
- report illegal activity to the authorities and cooperate with lawful requests.

Accounts closed for serious or repeated violations are not eligible for a refund.

## Report abuse

If you believe a YelMail address is being used for abuse, email [abuse@yelmail.com](mailto:abuse@yelmail.com) with:

- the YelMail address involved;
- the date and time (with time zone) of the activity;
- for email-related reports, the full message headers if you have them;
- a short description of what happened.

We review every report. Because inboxes are temporary, please report as soon as possible.

## If you run a website

Some services choose to block disposable email addresses at sign-up. That is your choice, and we will not help anyone evade such blocks.
